RIPSTAR® 103 P

RIPSTAR 103 P is a two component, thixotropic, polyester resin based anchoring paste for
fixing heavy loads.

Specification:
The polyester resin based grout shall be RIPSTAR 103 P, a two-component, fast-setting, high-
strength, ready to use formulation. The product is specially designed for applications where heavy
loads under critical conditions are to be fixed in concrete. Both components of RIPSTAR 103 P,
packed in a single cartridge with separate compartments, are correctly mixed in the mixing nozzle
during application. It shall be formulated to perform in moist environment and free of any solvents.
The fixing compound shall comply with the requirement of IS 11309.
Uses:
 For anchoring bar in preformed holes in concrete.
 Grouting anchor bolts and starter bars in concrete exposed to heavy loads.
 Installation of bonded rebars / shear reinforcement.
 It can be used as a structural adhesive to glue metal elements on concrete or to glue
concrete elements together.

Packaging:
 RIPSTAR 103 P is supplied in cartridges of 350 ml side by side for use with a special gun.

 RIPSTAR 103 P completely meets IS 11309 for anchoring bars & bolts.
 RIPSTAR 103 P has been tested in an independent laboratory, perfectly meets the
requirements of the norm.

Application procedure:
Direction of use:
Drill the correct size hole in the concrete base material. Clean the hole thoroughly. Fix the mixer
nozzle to the front end of the resin cartridge. Fit the resin cartridge into the special dispenser gun
and press the trigger. Insert the nozzle into the back of hole. While gunning the resin system, slowly
withdraw the nozzle, depositing the resin bead inside the hole. Apply the specified number of
trigger pulls (see table) Insert the anchor rod/ rebar into the hole with a slight twisting motion.
Ensure some resin overflows & wipe off the same.

 The indicated filling quantities are calculated without wastage. Consider wastage 10% to
50%.

Storage and Shelf life All:

Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. In tropical climates the
product must be stored in an air-conditioned environment .Shelf life is 12 months when stored as above.

Safety precautions:
As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth,
skin and foodstuffs (which can also be tainted with vapour until product fully cured or dried). Treat splashes
to eyes and skin immediately. If accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical attention. Keep away from
children and animals.
