International Speaker High School Highlights


Comes to RGS Bridge Building
Riverdale won the regional bridge building competition as a
school for the 16th consecutive year. Sophomore Matt Reamy
qualified for the international competition with his efficiency
of 2,880.9. Though the international competition is delayed until
June, Matt has constructed his bridge to submit by mail and his
bridge is expected to do well.
Mock Trial
After facing strong competition at the regional level,
Riverdale’s White Team won the Multnomah County Regional
Competition, qualifying them for state. Students prepared for
this trial during their second-trimester mock trial elective class.
On Feb. 22, two weeks prior to the state competition, the team
received the mock trial case: acting as the defense and prosecu-

RIVERDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT – Having secured a
