    The attention of all the Departments of Secretariat / Heads of Departments / District
    Collectors is invited to the reference 7th cited, wherein instructions have been issued continuing the
    ban orders on purchase of “FURNITURE” upto 31.03.2013.

    2. Government have reviewed the matter and hereby decide to continue the ban orders for a
    further period of one year with effect from 01.04.2013 due to stringent ways and means position of
    the State. Accordingly, Government hereby direct that no furniture shall be allowed to be
    purchased by Government Departments/Offices, except Hospitals, Hostels, Residential Schools,
    Residential Colleges, Newly Created Offices/ Colleges, Constitutional Authorities i.e. Governor’s
    Secretariat, High Court of Andhra Pradesh till 31.03.2014.
