CONCEPT IDEATION AND BRIEFING

The reason for creating zones is because the
entire program and all activities will work in a
time frame and in a systemic Oder, and also
the foot reach between them.

So, I wanted to categorize the land in o 4 zone

according to the Oder of activities, where
each zone is dedicated to only one particular
activity.

ZONE -1 START

The reason why I’ve named it as a start zone

because, that’s where the whole program
starts in the design.

The idea is that, since it’s a recreational zone

every batch who visit this place will be new to
the Centre every time, so the entry should be
surprise elements which reveals stage by stage
when they go through.

As well as the should be huge, should kind of

fell them like a massive entrance, from where
they couldn’t see the main block or any other
built mass apart from trees.

In this case I’ve used my contours in the design

where the main block in on high level and
entry is in the low level, when they park there
vehicles and start walking towards to zone 2,
all the surprise elements should reveal, like
massive Stair case, the Tower, and then the
main Active zone.

Start zone contains huge long ang high walls

Which leads to parking and then a huge
staircase and ramp to Start there journey.
ZONE -2 ACTIVE ZONE

After zone 1 from start, the batch will enter the

zone 2 which is active zone, in this active zone
they’ll be introduced to the systems of the oasis

The time frame to be followed and schedules

to be followed as per time and tasks they need
to do in a day, and then they allot them the
hostel rooms as per their requirements.

Active zone has a meditation center both

indoor and our door, yoga space both indoor
and out door, kitchen and dining hall with a
capacity of 60, an interaction space for both
farmers and the visitors and a hostel or INN
which is of 60beds. With a private pool and a
sun deck.

Also a courtyard and water body in the Centre
which combines all these. And makes a
juxtapose, all these blocks are arranged
according to the contours levels.

The idea of scattering all the blocks is to create

a movement between them on direct land
rather than creating corridors, the courtyard
will gives a sense of open green interaction

zone. Which also acts as a thermal conductor
for all blocks around in the summers.

ZONE -3 Source

Source zone is nothing but the a work zone or a serving zone for active
zones, the whole idea is there should a source for food which the visitors
need to be cultivated by their own, with the help of farmers.

In this way the visitors will no the farming techniques and also acts as an
mental diversion from there regular work methods in there offices.

Here in this source zone they’ll growing there own vegetables and rice
naturally with the help of farmers. There will a cattle shad which is main
source for not only milk but also for fertilization, also source zone has a
farming vehicle shads and some storage units.

This source zone is directly assessable from kitchen and interaction

space in the active zone.
ZONE -4 SILENT ZONE
Every architectural principles
stated that height is the
All these 1,2,3 zones have a activity mapping which
symbol of Victory, Memory,
they need to follow on time and work accordingly but
Superiority
after all these a visitor also need a private zone to Sit,
Think, Observe nature, and Respond, so, the silent zone
is nothing but a self motivating and captivating zone.

The reason why I chose this massing as a tower is

because

Tower as thermal reactor in seasons
Tower as symbolizes power and superiority
Tower as trophies to satisfy ego and make human calm
Tower as height mass which makes people anxious
Tower as isolation among all other zones
Tower as identity of a design

The heights symbolizes the power and superiority which

make human satisfy ego and that mass make human
calm and make him think. That’s why every country
builds skyscrapers to show there identity power and
symbol.

Tower as wind catcher

The main idea is since I have too many active zones in

the program, I’ve scattered all my zoning but in
Vikarabad it’s a rock land, it will observe more heat in
summers, the average temperature will be 45c to 50c
in summers, but all these meditation and Yoga were
not been done in a central AC rooms.

So I’ve adopted this wind catchers technique which

makes the ambiance cool in summers by venturi
effect.
