I. Objective:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
A. Label the parts and give the function of the Human Skeletal System.
B. Tell the class how to take good care of the bones.
C. Motivation
- Before we start our lesson, we are going to
have a game, you will be grouped into two.
- from there upto the end is group 1 and here
upto the end is group 2. - Ok Teacher!
- our game today is a puzzle with a twist, the
wist is that there will be no trial so you have to
listen carefully at the mechanics. the
mechanics of the game is each group will have
nine of its best representatives, each
representative will have one move in forming
the puzzle. They will stay at the end of the
classroom facing the board. One by one they
will each get a piece of the puzzle and put it on
the frame and will ring the bell after they had - yes sir!
made their move. The first group to finish wins - (chooses their representatives)
the game!
- did you understand the mechanics class? - Sir yes sir!

- ok now choose your best representatives.
- all representatives please stay at the back!
- are you all ready? - (______group wins the game)

- (lets the last group to finish the puzzle)
E. Discussion
- yes! Our lesson today is about the human
skeletal system!
- but I have an expert to discuss the human
skeletal system.
- to meet him let us close our eyes and count
to ten! Now close your eyes and no peeking! - One.. two.. three…...ten!
- ready count!
- here is where your humerus is located. - (feels the bone in the arm called “Humerus”)
- everybody feel your humerus!
- Ok (student name) locate the Humerus and - (locates and puts the label)
put its label.
- Next one is the Ulna!
- The ulna is the long bone found in the
forearm that stretches from the elbow to the
smallest finger.
- Here, in the arm is where the ulna is located, - feels the ulna)
now feel your ulna!
- Ok (student name) locate the Ulna and put its - (locates and label)
label. - The radius is slightly shorter of the two
- next is the Radius. Everybody read! forearm bones. Found on the thumb side of the
- Ok Very good! forearm and rotates to allow the hand to pivot
at the wrist.
G. Generalization
- Ok class if we don't have bones what do - (answers in his/her own way)
