soft and gentle. Green symbolizes the environment and represents the company’s goal
to provide earth-friendly products. Blue signifies Bam-Banayad mission for growth and
contribution to create a better world for creativity. The concept of Bam-Banayad is to
offer linens that are made from 100% bamboo raw material. It is produced by extracting
bamboo leaves and inner pith of the hard bamboo through mechanical procedures. The
extracted cellulose from bamboo will be converted into bamboo fiber. The Bam-
Banayad is an eco-friendly product because bamboo is grown without the use of
pesticides or fertilizers. In addition to that, bamboo fiber is biodegradable in soil by
micro-organisms and sunlight. Having reached the end of its useful life, linens made
from bamboo can be composted and disposed of in an organic and environmentally
friendly manner. Additional features of Bam-Banayad is that it is hypoallergenic due to
the fact that it is natural substance with a protein structure and created through a very
complex process which not require a chemical treatment. Aside from being
hypoallergenic, Bam-Banayad is also anti-microbial because bamboo fiber has been
shown to kill bacteria, fungi, and even dust mites after many years of use and bacteria
can be inhibited from growing in bamboo fabrics. It contains an agent “bamboo kun”
which is found naturally in living bamboo fiber and prevents bacteria and odor from
cultivating on it. Bam-Banayad is a good choice as bacterium and odor preventing
fabric. It has the ability to keep people cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold. Bam-
