Write your answers in short bond paper. Either computer printed or hand written is accepted.

1. In your own academic experience, which approach/method is best for you to learn? Why?
Teachers have their own approach/method of teaching. Subjectively, having methods under the
Expository approach is nothing new but still the best ways to learn. The Deductive method specifically is
a method for the general. Teacher to student relationship is established and the planning step
specifically gives a clear view of what the classroom atmosphere should be like. Before feeding students
the necessary information for learning, the Teacher must master each part of his subject.

2. What do you think is the best approach/method in the following levels? Please support your answer.
a. Elementary learners
Methods under Expository Approach would be best suited for Elementary learners for it
elaborates the subject as the simplest. Directing the students to the main point would
be fit for the youngest learners.

b. Junior High school learners

Methods under Guided Exploratory Approach would be best for Junior High School
students. The Process Oriented method would give the students the formal way
summarizing what they have learned in school and finding the most important details.
The Problem Solving method will give the Junior High School students a sense of
defining problems and being able to formulate ‘baby’ hypothesis.

c. Senior High School learners

Senior High School students is a crucial chapter of the learning system. Best-suited
approach would be the methods under the Guided Exploratory Approach. Teachers
should approach the students that would not just spoon-feed them, but also to give
them chances on being as independent as possible.

d. Tertiary/College students
Cognitive-Oriented Method would definitely give Tertiary level students a challenge
and will give them a direct approach on how and what is the correct manner of doing
practical and logical things. Constructivism is quite important for Tertiary level students
so that they would definitely understand and grasp the course with their own particular
interpretation.

e. TESDA/vocational students
Structured-Oriented Methodologies would be best suitable for Vocational students.
Since practicality and the actuality of the course for vocational students, it is best to
gather the most general way of doing things. With Vocational courses, students cannot
really change the interpretation of the course. Having this method lets the students take
the course directly out of the book.
