    1. GIVING AND FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS.


    1. COMPLETE THE DIRECTIONS WITH THE FOLLOWING :
    ACROSS—STOP---LEFT—GO STRAIGHT—CORNER—BLOCKS—TURN
    To get to the UZ Bank from here, ______go straight____ ahead on this street for two
    _____blocks_____. ____Turn____ right on the ____corner______ of this street and
    Peach Street. Go half a block and ___stop___. The UZ Bank is in the middle of the block,
    ____across____ the street, on your ___left____.

    2.Write about your daily routine and that of your family. Use frequency adverbs (always,
    usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never ) and the verbs eat, smoke, drink, go to bed, get up, watch
    TV, eat out, read, drive, etc.

    I always get up at 8 am, and then i make the breakfast, with my sister I usually eat the breakfast with
    her and my daughter, after we ate breakfast, we often clean the house to help my mother with the
    daily work, after we finish all I watch TV and sometimes I read a good book. I often love to bake
    cakes or cookies with my family. Sometimes in the middle of the afternoon I like to go out with my
    sister we rarely go to far from the block, after we come back to the house I take a shower and I get
    prepare to go to bed, and of course as a family we never go to bed without pray.

    Recuerden que la posición de los adverbios de frequencia es entre el sujeto y el verbo.

    Ej. : I always visit my friends on weekends.

    Estos son los adverbios y su significado: always= siempre; usually=casi siempre ; often =
    frecuentemente ; sometimes = a veces ; rarely= casi nunca; never = nunca.

    The INFINITIVE OF PURPOSE. Esto es el infinitivo de propósito. Este consiste en el verbo antecedido
    de la partícula TO. EL SIGNIFICADO DE ESTE INFINITIVO ES PARA. Ej. We need tomatoes to make
    salad. = Necesitamos tomates para hacer ensalada.

    Complete with an infinitive of purpose.
