The concept of Predictive linguistics, that is, that one may be able to
develop algorithms to process data retrieved from the internet in
quantity such that prescient wording might be revealed thus yielding a
description of the developing future, was born out of the first years of
the internet being released into humanity's grasp. Predictive linguisitics
grew from the exposure of any and all of us on the internet in those
early, heady, days, to completely unrestricted human expression. There
were no rules. It was real 'free speech'. The totally uncontrolled, even
reactive nature of human conversation during those years brought out
the idea of "predictive linguisitics".

The years since have seen the rise of 'politically correct culture' which
has forced a period of self-censorship on language resulting in first
years of trying to constantly correct my algorithms for the change in the
nature of public discourse, and then finally, in these last 4 years with the
rise of the social media censorship, a finality to the working practice of
predictive linguistics.

With my gradual understanding of the nature of the change of language

in the public domain within which my software was operating and the
constraints i was working under, i also came to the awareness that the
'future impressions' or 'psychic prescience' that i had been able to
locate for those brief years by software mining of language, are still
there, now locked, within our collective human psyche. The primary
effect of the imposed censorship, both by the PC culture, and the
corporate social media owners, will, in my opinion, result in all the
effects of 'stifling' as we have seen in past cultural cul-de-sacs, which is
to say, increasingly aberrant behavior, both in individuals, and collective
humanity.

Coincident with my realization that language was being squeezed into a

narrow constrained box that was forcing out the predictive leaks within
normal speech, i reached several fulcrum points within my life such that
i am at peace with the situation. It was a good run while it lasted. i
learned much from both the discovery, and its application, and defense
over the years. It is not my intent to attempt to ressurect the fight
against the current trends. Free speech will return, and with it, at some
point, the ability to once again, mine language effectively for the psychic
leaks that dribble out of all of us.

My contented state now is also shaped by having pursued this work

since 1993. Twenty-six years is enough. Now onto the new work that
universe will provide. Thank you for your support over these past
decades in the exploration of predictive linguisitics. Even the critics of
