I. Opening
1. Opening spiel:

Hi good morning/afternoon [use hand gestures/wave] — Welcome to my class and welcome to Acadsoc!”
Can you hear me? can you see me?
2. Introduction:

I am teacher ___. what’s your English name?


So Let me introduce myself…
“I have been teaching English for a year. I love teaching because I find it interesting. During my free time, I love
reading books, going out with friends and watching movies.
3. Initiate conversation:

How are you today? — what are your hobbies? —How’s the weather today?
4. Assess the student's goal in learning English

Why do you want to study English?


5. Acknowledge
I understand that you want to improve your English skills. Don’t worry, I am the best person who can
help you improve your English skills.

III. LESSON PROPER

1. Introduce the lesson:

3. EXPLANATION:
• The speaker was telling a story about Uncle Peter that he usually goes to a pub to share stories
after a drink of Harp. His stories are simple yet funny. Once he’s done drinking a pint of harp he
will sit and say “Come here I’ll tell you”, then half of the people in the pub would be leaning to
listen to him and laugh out from his stories.

“Ok. I understand that we were not able to finish our lesson. However, we are about to end our class. So, let me give
you my recap. We were able to discuss about vocabulary, you were able to learn new words and you were receptive

 You can read aloud English books everyday to improve your pronunciation skills.
 You can also watch English movies to improve listening skills and improve understanding with
comprehension.
 To improve grammar, you can practice writing English sentences during your free time. Do this as your
homework and I will check it on our next class
 Lastly, Do English lesson at least one class per day.
