Taught three levels of 9th grade English - Basic English, English 1, and Honors
English - exploring various texts and grammar and vocabulary lessons. Students
studied Modern, Ancient, and Elizabethan Era literature while completing
various writing exercises varying in length from the sentence level, to paragraph
level, to paper level.

Taught one semester Drama class where students explored drama history, as well
as particular acting techniques. Students also wrote and performed a one-act play
as a part of their final assessment.

Taught two levels of the Chesterton Academy - 9th grade Ancient Literature and
10th grade Medieval Literature. Students in each class closely read Ancient and
Medieval texts while participating in daily Socratic Seminars. Students also
completed writing exercises varying in length from the sentence level to
paragraph level, to paper level at a faster pace with more development in
argumentation.
