In addition to the Notification issued by the University i.e. DSNLU/RP/NOTFN/2020/0027
dated May 14, 2020, the following Guidelines are issued:
1. The submission of the Research Paper1 and Viva-Voce is in lieu of the End Semester
Examination for the Academic Year 2019-20. The Scheme for Evaluation of the
Research Paper for 1st, 2nd 3rd, 4th, 5th year and LL.M. Program is as follows:
3. Structure of the Research Paper (Model Structure of Title Page is provided at the
last page):
a. Cover Page
b. Title of the Research Paper
c. Name of the Student, Roll No. and Name of the Program
d. Subject
e. Name of the Faculty Member
f. Name of the University and Place
g. Date of Submission
h. The Content of the Research Paper:
i. Table of Contents
ii. List of Abbreviation, if any
iii. Table of cases
iv. The Research Paper may be divided into several Parts / Chapters
(depending on the Subject) and provide a systematic treatment of the
subject and synergy of law with conclusions and suggestions.
4. The students shall prepare a PPT for the Research Paper and submit the copy prior to the
Viva-Voce to the Faculty Member concerned and copy the same to the Examination
Department. The Evaluation of the Research Paper shall also be based on the PPT
submitted by the student.
II. The Guidelines for the submission of the Projects including Viva-Voce shall be as
notified earlier. The student shall submit the project in electronic form and mail the copy
to concerned Faculty Member for evaluation and there upon to conduct Viva-Voce. The
Viva-Voce will be conducted by the Faculty Member online. The Schedule for Viva-
Voce shall be at the convenience of the Faculty Member and in conformity of the notified
schedule.
III. The Guidelines for the submission of the Seminar Paper (5th year only) including
Viva-Voce shall be as notified earlier and shall be as per the Examination Regulations.

The student shall submit the Seminar Paper dissertation in electronic form and mail the
copy to concerned Faculty Member for evaluation with a copy to the Examination
Department. The Evaluation of written submission and Viva-Voce shall be online and
conducted by the Faculty Member Concerned with the “External Expert” as per Rule 81
of the Examination Regulations.
IV. LL.M. Program – Evaluation of the Dissertation shall be as per the Examination
Regulations. The Evaluation of Dissertation and Viva-Voce shall be online and
conducted by the Faculty Member Concerned with the “External Expert”. Four Hard
Copies of the written submission shall be submitted to the Academic Department on or
before taking “No Due Certificate” as per the University Regulations.
V. Back-log Examinations: The notified regulations are applicable only to the students for
pursuing the current Academic Year 2019-20. For the students having back-log
examinations, the University will conduct the examinations after the reopening of the
University.
VI. The students Attendance will be notified after completion of the classes and shall be as
Examination Regulations and the UGC Guidelines.
VII. The University has established the “Student’s Grievance Cell”. Any queries shall be
made to the mail.id provided in the notification, i.e., covid-19sgc@dsnlu.ac.in
Student may mail for any grievance.
