Question (Character):

Heart to Heart
That’s a pretty tough situation you’re going through there, Gold-Eye. I see
that your world is total conflict with itself and not much happiness can exist in
such a world ruled by Tyrants. Not being able to live past 14 is terrible, and even if
you manage to join the “Shade’s Children”, you would never be able to live life like
we have in my world. The situation that these “Overlords” have put you in is quite
tough. If they control everything in this world, then it is close to impossible to
usurp them. You and the rest of the gang do quite a wonderful job of doing
whatever you can to cripple their advances. Managing to save other children with
“Talents” from the “Meat Room” guarded by all those “Myrmidons” is not something
anyone where I come from could and would endure. Also, not being able to have any
friends or living a life any human should’ve lived could be quite a crippling event
both mentally and psychologically. Although “Shade” does a sturdy job of trying to
make your lives the way it was back before “The Change”, he still has the issues of
trying to put lives after the cause.

I think that you and the rest of the Shade’s Children have done more than
excellent job of handling this situation and making all of what has been given to
you. When you first had your uncontrollable burst of hormones with Ninde, instead
of going forth with what it was telling you to do, you and Ninde suppressed the
urges and continued to do what was the most important task at the time,
destroying the “Grand Projector”.

You have many strengths and flaws, and they both balance each other out,
for none of us can be totally perfect. Your greatest strength would have to be the
way you think of your friend’s before all. When Drum and Ella got swept away by
the rushing water down in the tunnels, instead of following Ninde through to the
University, you argued to stay and wait for them, relying on hope that they indeed
survived the blast like you did. A big flaw of yours is you did not have the
experience the others had. You ran away from your jailers when you almost hit 14,
with 2 of your friends. They both died and left you to fend for yourself. After
this, your life was on the run. When you finally ran into Ella, Ninde, and Drum, you
were almost incapable of speech for you have not been in human company for quite
some time. Altogether, I would say nobody was better suited for destroying the
tyrant “Overlords” than you and the rest of the Shades Children. I commend you
on such a job well done, and hope that the rest of your life is spent in happiness.
