Instructions for signing up for CNM and to take the Accuplacer

STEP 1: Take the Accuplacer and Get your CNM ID!

GET YOUR CNM ID:

1) Contact College and Career Counselors to start CNM’s registration process and to get your
CNM ID number, CNM email, username, and password.
Email yalecollegeandcareer@mascharterschool.com, and the correct counselor will get you
started. It should be a quick Google hangout like you are already familiar with.

TAKE THE ACCUPLACER

2) Read through CNM’s Accuplacer web page to learn about the test, the rules for taking the
test, and to locate study materials. It is best to study and​ ​take at least one practice test​ before
taking the Accuplacer.

3) From the Accuplacer webpage, follow the “Schedule my Accuplacer” link. You will be
directed to CNM’s appointment scheduler, Registerblast. Watch the “Registerblast Video
Tutorial.” Technical questions can be directed to​ testing@cnm.edu or (505) 224-3243.

IMPORTANT: ​You will need a desktop or laptop computer (a Chromebook or tablet will not
work) with audio and video capabilities. To check system requirements, go to
www.accuplacer.org​ and click the “verify system” button on the bottom right of the screen.

4) Below the Registerblast tutorial, you will see Scheduling instructions. Select “Yes, I am a CNM
student.” Once redirected, click “Accuplacer Remote.” You will be prompted to login with your
CNM email address and password. When registering for the exam you will be asked:

1. “Choose a Group” Select “Accuplacer Placement Exam (online)

2. “Choose an Exam” Select “Reading and Math”
3. “Choose a Date” Select an available day
4. “Choose a Time” Select an available time

Complete the rest of the form. Select “Add to Cart.” You will not be registered until you click
“Complete Registration.” A CNM representative will contact you with further instructions.
STEP 2: SIGN UP!!!!
Contact your college counselor to navigate the sign up process!
