To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Mary Nemec for a teaching position.
Miss Nemec was my student intern in third grade for sixteen weeks at Boston Valley School.
She was an asset to my classroom and was a very easy individual with whom to work. Mary was
responsible for planning and implementing a math unit on addition and subtraction. She also
taught various lessons in other subject areas using a variety of methods and strategies.
Mary consistently maintained a positive learning environment while enforcing our behavior
management program in the classroom. Mary demonstrated professionalism, self-confidence,
and enthusiasm from the beginning of her placement. She took the initiative to select an array of
books to meet the needs of our blended classroom. Mary worked with a block group to provide
extra instruction and practice for struggling students.
Miss Nemec genuinely cared for our students and was perceptive to their needs, strengths, and
weaknesses. I was sad to see her go, but I am sure she will be just as successful wherever she
teaches. I can assure you that if a teaching position were to open at my grade level, I would want
to work with her. She is creative, organized, deeply conscientious, professional, and hard
working.
I strongly recommend her and am sure that you will be more than satisfied with her performance
in the classroom.

Very truly yours,

Kristen Winiewicz
