The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) is pleased to announce the conduct of the 2020
GASTPE Regional Orientation on the guidelines of the JHS Education Service Contracting (ESC),
Teachers’ Salary Subsidy (TSS), and SHS Voucher Program for participating schools in April-June,
2020.

As the institutional owner of the GASTPE program, the Department of Education (DepEd) issues the
program guidelines that all participating schools are expected to comply with. One of the
responsibilities of PEAC as co-implementor of the program is to conduct orientation conferences on
the guidelines to ensure the efficiency of program implementation.

With attendance in the regional orientation as one of the requirements of program

participation, the school’s attendance in the said activity has been made a pre-requisite to the
creation of billing statements through the ESC IMS and SHS VMS.

Please find below the details of the 2020 GASTPE Regional Orientation.

Schedule. Participating schools should attend the schedule assigned to their region as indicated in
the attached schedule.

Program. The one-day orientation will cover the JHS ESC and TSS Programs in the morning and the
SHS Voucher Program in the afternoon. Attached is the program for your reference.

Target Participants. Each participating school is given two slots per session. The expected
attendees are detailed in the table below.

Each school campus or delivery mode is required to send its representatives to the
orientation. The online registration portal requires the name of the school and the corresponding
ESC ID and/or DepEd ID. Information encoded should be accurate for the verification of the school’s
attendance.
Registration Fee and Online Registration. Participating schools should register online at
peac.org.ph. Online registration opens on February 10, 2020. There is a registration fee to cover
the meals of the participants, as indicated in the table below.

It is important that the persons assigned to register the participants from their respective
schools read the registration and payment guidelines, and strictly follow the instructions.

On-site registration and/or payment are strongly discouraged. Participants are considered “walk-in”
if they did not register online and/or have not paid the registration fee. The organizers reserve the
right to decline walk-in participants in view of the capacity of the venue and other logistical
requirements of the activity.
