Title : QC Manager

Location : Bangladesh

Reporting to : MD/CEO/GM/Merchandiser

Job Purpose

 To ensure following quality instruction in production so that customer quality requirement is clearly met
and achieve.

Area of Responsibility

 Primary purpose of this role is to implementation of the necessary Quality control measures in
accordance with customer quality requirement in producing garments. so that customer will get right
quality product.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. He always follows customer quality manual for production to produce their products

2. following buyer’s requirements and guidance for each departments and processes in production and set
quality measurement and recording quality information’s.

3. Monitor the quality of the product through the various stages of production.

4. Auditing inward fabric and trims and ensuring only quality goods are accepted.

5. Involvement in product development and pre-production sampling stage and take care of quality aspects
of samples.

6. Ensure that no faulty fabric is sent for cutting. If minor fault is present in the fabric,
defects should be marked on the fabric and same thing must be communicated to cutting department.

7. Examines garment and parts for any defects, such as unfinished raw edges, broken buttons or hooks,
uneven stripes or plaids, puckers in seams, loose threads or stitches, printing errors, embroidery
mistakes of any garment or incorrect packaging assortment.

8. Records number and type of defects for each worker.

9. Returns rejected part or garment to department to be reworked.

10. Preparing audit report of the fabric and trims quality.

11. Conducting pre-production meeting before production start.

12. Perform in - line inspection and end-of-line inspection in sewing floor.

 13. Perform inline inspection, pre-final audit and final inspection in finishing department.

14. When goods are ready for shipment QC will conduct the inspection / audit as per buyer AQL.

15. Responsible for analysis quality reports and prepare improvement plan.

16. Ensuring the right quality of the outward garment by conducting quality audits in manufacturing process.

17. He has send daily quality report (QMR) to management.

Qualifications and Experience

 Having University Graduation degree in Arts

 Having 8 yrs. experience in garment quality control area

 Excellent communication skills.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.   

 Proven ability to provide support, guidance and training to production worker.

 Must be able to prioritise tasks and make important decisions in a dynamic work environment.

 Team Player.

 Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
