Introduction

Customer Registration
Customer can register on the site as a member. He/She will be asked to submit a form with
various fields to collect theirpersonal details to create a profile. They will have to submit
captcha at the time of registration. The customer will automatically be assigned the
account manager role for this Particular account.

Existing Customer
Once the account is activated, customer can perform the following basic tasks
• Customers can Login and view their account after successful Login.
• Customers can add/edit/delete all their details.
• Customers canreset the log-in credentials (Details will be mailed to the Customer)
• Customers can track their order history and status (If supporting API is provided
by the shipping company)

o Easily search for products by using different keywords like name, category wise
etc and can refine their results by using filters such as price, product type, ratings,
shop by etc. on the website.

o Place orders on the website.
o Check their order status on the website (if supported by the shipping company)
o Make payments for their orders by using integrated payment gateway given by the
Client.
o Choose their mode of shipping using integrated shipping gateway on the website.

o Receive an email for confirmation after the order is placed on the website.
o Receive newsletter after submitting their name and email id on the website and this
section will be managed by admin.

My Account Control Panel for Customer

Customers can operate a host of functions from their Account Control Panel. The control
panel will carry the following modules:

o Change personal details on the account
o My Orders
o Check status of their instant orders
o Check past purchases
o Customers can print the Invoices
o Customers can review active orders
o Payments
o Customers can view all their old payment transactions

Search
Customers can easily search for products by using different keywords like name, category
etc and can refine their results by using filters such as price etc. on the website. They can
view the list of content that match to their searched criteria.

Products
Products will be sorted according to the categories and sub categories. Once a category is
selected, all the products falling under the particular category will be listed along with the
image and necessary details. Customer will have option to sort the view based on price and
other parameters. When a customer clicks on a product, he will be taken to a page where
the complete details of the products are listed. They can view different images of the
particular product, read specifications about it and can add that product to the shopping
cart. Admin can manage this section from the backend.

Customers can view shipping prices for their purchased products on the website. Shipping
will be according to zip code address of the customers. After the payment paid by the
customers, admin can ship the products to the customers. Website will be integrated to the
shipping gateway provided by the Client. Admin can manage this section from the backend.

Payment gateway
Customers can make payments for the purchased products on the website by using
integrated payment gateway given by the Client. Admin can manage this section from the
backend.

Social Media Integration

The website will be integrated with various social networking websites like facebook,
Twitter etc. Customers can only share the link of the website on these social
networking sites.

Newsletter
Customers can subscribe for the newsletter on the website by submitting e-mail id and
name on the website. This section will be managed by admin from the backend.

The contact us page will list contact details of the Client along with a contact us from and

Every Page will be sent for confirmation from the client side to meet client’s expectation.
Required changes will be done to fine tune the design according to the feedbacks received from
the client. If required, we will come up with new design to ensure customer satisfaction.

Comprehensive Testing

While on beta stage, the site will go through a comprehensive testing phase, performed by
experienced testers. The main focus will be to ensure that the site is compatible with
majorly used smart phones as well as web browsers.
