An MoU was signed between Indian Railways, Tata Trust, Vijeyavahini Charitable foundation and RailTel Corporation of india for the provision of Wi-Fi facility at 4791 stations across Indian Railways, and the same was circulated vide reference above. 2, At SL No- Ill (1) of Annex4 of Role and responsibility matiix in the said MoU, Operation & Maintenance of the entire active and passive Network infrastructure for WLFi facility at 4791 stations provided by Tata Trust, lies with Indian Railways & RaliTel There Is a need to distinguish the responsibilities of each stakeholder in light of the spirit of MoU. Accordingly, Board (MST) have approved the following: 2.1 Respective Railway shall maintain earthing, power supply & railway maintained fibre. . 2.2 RailTel shall operate & maintain the other active and passive Network Infrastructure (including OLT, ONT, Splitter, AP, EMSINMS etc.) and the ' associated accessories at each station or at NOC, ‘These equipments have ennus! maintenance service support for two years after one year warranty period. The relevant document provided by Tata Trust is enclosed. 23 RaifTel shall also maintain backend fibre (maintained by RailTel) and bandwidth, Kindly acknowledge the receipt and ensure compliance.
