1) Due to technology advancement, the demand for electronics in developed countries

is increasing whch intuirn is increasing the ewaste. Reusability of electronic goods is

less in developed countries. So, these Countries dump e-waste to developing
countries as it is cheaper as compared to recycling

2) Demand for second hand electronics from developed countries is more in

developing countries as their quality is better than new electronic goods. So, 70%
second hand goods are getting imported in developing countries out of which 20%
goods are in non-working condition which in turn is increasing ewaste and Imported
goods has direct impact on domestic production ,employment in developing
countries and literacy rate as young youth spend their time in extracting precious
metals to make money.

3) Rate of production is directly proportional to ewaste. It means more the number of

goods which will be produced will have direct impact on poor countries and will have
developing countries converting into toxic places. Developing countries lack recycling
infrastructure for electronic goods which has lot of hazardous impact on
environment and health. Due to improper disposal, environmental hazards and
creating health issues like Cancer, respiratory problems, neurotoxicity,
developmental affects

4) Multi-national companies are just producing electronic goods and not taking
responsibility for their EOL equipments.MNC’s need to rethink on how do we design
and manufacturing electronics.MNC’s should focus on REPAIR AND RESUSE product
helps in building circular economy.

5) Companies should rethink on entire supply chain including mining, design

manufacturing and lifecycle. They need to make electronic goods user friendly so
that they themselves repair and reuse product in case of any issues rather than
buying new product and dumping the older one.

6) Young youth getting spend their time in extracting precious metal out of 20%
imported goods to make income by virtue of which is impacting literacy rate
