Lewis John Empty Spaces Review
Lewis John Empty Spaces Review
Lewis was invited to set as a Behind The Scenes Videographer/Photographer, and also stepped in as a runner
when needed.
He
brought with him a positive and keen attitude to learn and help. He approached his job roles with
confidence and even used his knowledge to advise in certain areas - such as in the camera department. This
was much appreciated by all and helped for a smoother production.
Lewis knew where additional help was needed and didn’t complain or question anything that was asked of him.
His
attitude towards the production was impeccable and this is something that is needed and respected on any
production big or small.
He also knew where to have fun, which was something we were grateful for, as the shooting days were often
long, but he didn’t let this cloud his professional judgement.
Lewis never got in the way and always knew the right moment where he could advise if it was needed. He was
also a champ for bringing several other members of the crew to set, picking them up in the mornings and
dropping them off in the evenings. Without him, it would have been hard for us to get those other crew
members to set each day.
As well as a behind the scenes videographer/photographer, Lewis also stood in as a clapper and logger when
required. Each shot was logged well, and there were no mix ups in the logging process. We were very grateful
for him stepping in here, as and when was needed, as it has definitely helped the editing process.
Overall, Lewis was great to have on set, and I’d love to have him on another one of my productions in the
future.
I hope he has been able to take away some valuable knowledge and experience from the Empty Spaces set,
and I hope he will be able to use it on his own sets and productions in the future.
