“Delivery of drugs from wholesale sellers to pharmacies through drones”

Wholesale drugs sellers need to deliver the drugs to

pharmacies using big vans, which cost and pollute a lot,
traveling nearly empty.
The drones are traveling in the sky and move freely in
traffic, so they allow fast and frequent deliveries, granting
an increased delivery speed, especially in urban contexts
with traffic, the possibility to make deliveries in areas
usually difficult to be reached, and the ability to
autonomously carry out consignments.
By using them, the drugs wholesalers save time and
money and are environmentally friendly.

The wholesale drug sellers operate in a highly centralized market sector: more than 80% of the pharmacies
is served by 10 major wholesalers, covering interregional areas (when not national), with a turnover of
several hundred million euros a year.
Twice/three times a day, every Italian pharmacy orders a drug furniture, often of modest size and weight.
Sometimes the deliveries can't be put in a wider trip and they cause a lot in time and fuel consumed. In case
of traffic, the efficiency falls even more dramatically.

The last mile of path (typically from the entrance in the city to the recipient's address) causes the greatest
burden and is more easily exposed to traffic jams and other obstructions.
Having got a drone in the vehicle, which makes the final delivery to the pharmacy would be a tremendous
strength and make the difference.
A drone is moving in a direct line, without being affected by the traffic, or high altitudes.
Usually, the reduced weight and volume of the product allow the delivery by drone, with a very high level of
service (since the length of the last mile is very short), with a significant reduction in costs and advantages
both in terms of number of deliveries made and in terms of route optimization, having expanded the scope of
the reachable points in a single journey.

Our mission is to create a network of couriers with a drone on board their vehicle, loyal distributors at the
highest level of service.
Customers would buy:
- Delivery service (journey);
- Remote piloting service, run by pilots our employees, specialized in the last mile problem;
- A client application associated with wholesalers' and pharmacists' management program (BE programme);
- Drones (produced by a third part) and then customized by us for the delivery of drugs;
- Landing (and drone charging) base, produced by a partner company;
...through all-inclusive formula or dedicated subscriptions.
