Even though school is almost out for the summer, it is
important that students continue to work on the skills they
need to be independent and successful. Some of the best ways to do this is by playing, doing chores, spending time with family, and having fun.
We have created a calendar that includes one suggested
activity per day that will help maintain skills student’s already have while foster new skills. The activities on the calendar are low to no prep and supplies. They are meant to be fun and can be done as a family.
You do not have to follow this calendar exactly but we
encourage you try to do at least four activities a week. You can select activities that fit your student and your family. You can even repeat activities your student really liked. Remember when you are done with an activity, your child should help clean up any supplies and/or mess.
Hope you enjoy the activities! Have a great summer!
