Where We Are in Place and Time: Unit
Where We Are in Place and Time: Unit
Trans-disciplinary theme:
An exploration of our orientation in place and time; of our personal histories and
geographies; homes and journeys; the discoveries, explorations and migrations
of humankind; the relationships between and the interconnectedness of
individuals and civilizations, from local and global perspectives.
Dear Parents,
be very exciting and fun. Your child will be learning more about his/her own
family history in order to personal history and gain a better sense of where
they come from. We will be focusing on the immediate family, family trees,
diversity, traditional, and non-traditional families. The project will span over
a week to allow students the time and opportunity to make the necessary
contacts. There will be a few things each child will need to bring from home
support in helping with these items. I would also like to invite you to come to
see what your child is working on, to help out with any of our activities, or
support!
Sincerely,
