Dear Vice Mayor and SB Members:

One of the priorities of my administration is bringing government closer to our people.

In line with this, we will have the “PEOPLE’S DAY” in Barangay Igbong with the theme:
“Hinun-anon upod kay Mayor BJ kag mga opisyales sang Barotac Nuevo”.

The main purpose of this activity is to bring government service to the barangays where
we shall report to the people the accomplishments of our local government unit in the
past year, and bring as well the department heads so that queries of the populace on
basic government services will be readily answered.

I likewise invite and encourage our Sanggunian Bayan Members to prepare reports of
important laws, resolutions and ordinances that we have passed, approved and/or
adopted from June 30, 2016 up to the present.

The Barotac Nuevo People’s Day will be held at Barangay Igbong, Barotac Nuevo on
March 7, 2018 (Wednesday), at 09:00 in the morning. This shall continue until all
barangays in this municipality shall have been visited. Succeeding schedules will be
communicated to your office soon.

In this regard, your presence is highly encouraged on the said date and time to deliver
updates to our people and answer questions pertaining to the functions of the
Sanggunian.
