possesses practical experience of a resp~nsible

....ork in the Thermal PI ants, he shall not
be promoted to the next higher f-ost. How-
ever, in cGse the Officer is not in a ~osb-
tion to 1-roce:ed on training immediately
for the reasons \J1i ch may be recor'ded,
he may be detailed for trair.ing for the
next cou rs e at the discretion of the Chcir-
man. Further an officer may be exempted
from trQining in Case O1BirrnAnfeels thClt

not be detailed for training."

Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 read with Section-56 of Haryana Electricity Reform
Act- 1997 and all other enabling powers in this behalf the Haryana Power Generation
Corporation is pleased to add the following qualification at Regulation-S (a)
Sr. No. vi, of. Punjab Stale Elecy. Board service of Engineers (Electrical)
Recruitment Regulation, 1965; substituted by HSEB vide notification no. 281Reg-
181L-1Ildates! 10.01.89 and further amended by HVPN vide notification no. 18 dated
23.11.98 (as applicable to HPGC) as under.-
8. Qualifications (or direct appointment.

8 (a)
(vi) Has obtained a Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification in
anyone of the following disciplines :-

Electronics & Communication/ Electronics &
Telecommunication/Electronics & Electrical Communication!

TV. Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/

India Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in respect
of general category candidates and 55% marks for reserved category candidates

(vii) Has working knowledge of computer and exposure on common

software applications including networking.
(viii) Has passed Matriculation examination with Hindi/Sanskrit.

Note:
However, the mix of the number of Assistant Engineers to be
recruited from different disciplines of Engineering, at a given point of time, will be
decided by the Board of Directors depending upon the needs and work exigencies.

HPGC in its meeting held on 16.062003.
