Gautama was an Indian prince who sought to
end suffering and dedicated his life to to
reaching nirvana
● It originated in India the “Buddha” or
Enlightened One
● Buddhist believe in karma, dharma, and
reincarnation.
● The sacred text for buddhist is the Four Noble
Truths.
