CA250-II • CA260-II • CA280-II
Stage IIIA/Tier 3
We have improved Dynapac CA250/260/280 (Cummins Stage IIIA/Tier 3) by so
many new features that we are now proud to release the Series II of these
machines: CA250-II, CA260-II & CA280-II. All together 9 new soil compactors to
replace the former Stage IIIA/Tier 3 range. Compaction performance remaining
on top, but now operator’s view rear is improved and service made easy. The
noise level is 2 dB(A) lower with plastic hood compared to the open metal
hood, even without the vandal side covers, for the four cylinder engine.

We have outlined some features we believe will be important to you and your customers:
- Noise reduction – Even without the vandal side covers (included in EU/CE package),
plastic hood gives 2 dB(A) lower surrounding noise LwA*.
- Serviceability – The new hood design provides easy accessibility to all frequent service
points including radiators/coolers.
- Rear view visibility – 1 x 1 meter and turning radius plus rear angle of attack very good.
- Easy cleaning of the fuel tank – Needed if customers have trouble with contaminations in
fuel or bad fuel quality.
- Sleeker design – still solid tough.
- Possible to extend warranty to 2 years – see separate campaign.
- All together the proven top compaction performance, reliability, durability, highest safety
built in and user-friendly operator interface will make the machines stay winners.

As standard the machines will have limited slip rear axels, but as standardization it will not be
possible to add No-spin without having the dual speed rear axle as well. This is the logical
way to improve traction.

The drums will have the two bearing solution with some advantages; No 50 hours oil change
is needed, modular concept and same compaction parameters as for cartridge solution.

CA 250-II/260-II (not CA280-II): The weight change -600 kg (1300 lbs) on the front frame
can be compensated by adding the Heavy Cross Beam P/N 4700386600.
