II. COURSE TITLE: INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
III. CREDIT UNITS: 3 UNITS
IV. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course deals with the Introduction to Information Technology. It focuses on information about the history of
computer. It teaches fundamental principles of the different types of computers and covers both the earlier
computing devices and modern time computers. The key elements that this course focuses include: Milestone
in the development of computers, components of computer system, digital and analog computers, the internet,
World Wide Web, and flowcharting. The students are expected to classify the earlier computing devices, identify
the components of computer system, apply the correct usage of the internet, and to create flowchart.

3. Exhibit the virtue of perseverance specially when dealing with difficult tasks
