I’m interested in this career because of the camp cadet I did back in 9th grade.
2. What is a typical workday like?
Mornings are usually slow, troopers usually ride alone however they double up from 12am to
5am, do a lot of paperwork, handle patrols, traffic violations, etc
3. What are the job duties?
Provide coverage across the state, while also assisting township, village or city police
departments.
4. What is the best educational preparation for this career?
To get an associates degree, you can do it in any area but it is recommended to do criminal
justice

You could join the military or go to college

The proper use of firearms, self-defense, first aid, and civil rights
