ORDER:

The following notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

The Governor of Andhra Pradesh has promulgated the Andhra Pradesh Propagation of
other religion in the places of worship or prayer (Prohibition) Ordinance, 2007 (Andhra Pradesh
Ordinance 3 of 2007) on 22nd May, 2007 which was published in The Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Part-
IV-B Extraordinary on 24th May, 2007. This ordinance empowers the Government to prohibit
propagation of religion in places of worship or prayer other than the religion traditionally practiced
at such place and notify such places of worship or prayer from time to time.

The Government hereby notify the following places of worship under Section 2(2) of the
said ordinance.

i) The Tirumala Divya Kshetram comprising all the seven sacred hills as defined in
G.O.Ms.No.746, Revenue (Endts.III) Department, dt. 02.06.2007.
ii) Following ten Theerthams lying in TTD limits.
1) Sesha Theertham
2) Kumaradhara Theertham
3) Sankasananda Theertham
4) Papavinasana Theertham
5) Gopala Theertham
6) Thumbur Theertham
7) Pasupu Theertham
8) Ramakrishna Theertham
9) Bhima Theertham
10) Kapila Theertham

iii) The temples mentioned in the first schedule of Andhra Pradesh Charitable & Hindu
Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987.
iv) Sri Varaha Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam,
v) Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam,
vi) Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam, Dwaraka Tirumla,
vii) Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam, Vijayawada,
viii) Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Devasthanam, Srikalahasthi,
ix) Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjunaswamy Devasthanam, Srisailam
x) Sri Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Devasthanam, Kanipakam,
