I am currently working in 3d printing lab in which my project is

Investigation of tensile and Flexural properties of multi layered 3d
specimen using two or more material. And also compare the properties
with the materials
Tensile properties in which we test impact strength, high tensile stress
and stiffness of material .
Flexural properties in which we test the ability of material to resist
deformation under load.
Stress and strain graph will help to better understand the both material
property.
Since there is no proper research work has been done on using of two
materials to form object with the help of 3d printing. So this project will
help to better understand of uses of two different material to form an
object . We also compare different properties of material with basic
material .And what properties are changing when we use two material
at same time.
The following tools wil be used by me in the course of this project
1. Autocad
2. 3d printing software ( slicer software and meshlab software)
3. 3d printing machine
4. 3d printing material
5. Web search ( for journals and research paper)

My mentor introduced me to 3d printing lab and help me to understand

about various processes of 3d printing and what are the materials we are
using in 3d printing. Help me to understand the different software which
we are using in 3d printing . He disccussed me about various research
paper which will help me in this research . I discussed with my mentor
about about various ways we can so this research work . We find out
what is best layer height which we are using for the specimen and we
both made simple sample materials to for testing purpose and how two
material will stick together.
