Note: Условите по однос на просторот, кадрите и опремата, кои треба да
се исполнат за да се одобри отпочнување со работа на аптеките,
пропишани се со подзаконски акт. Со закон се пропишани начинот
на набавка, чување, контрола и издавање на готовите лекови,
помощните лековити средства, изготвените магистрални лекови и
официнелни препарати. Во аптеката задолжително се дава
упатство за употреба на лекот. Издавањето се врши со рецепт, без

Note: The conditions regarding the premises, staff and equipment, which should be
fulfilled so that the pharmacy could start its work, are regulated with by
laws. The way of purchasing, keeping and dispensing of the ready
medicines, subsidiary medical agents, medicinal preparations and official
remedies, are regulated with the law. The pharmacy compulsory gives
instructions for the use of medicine. Dispensing of the medicine is done,
depending on its characteristics, on prescription, without prescription or for
use only by service providers. The method of dispensing is determined by
the authorised body with approval for the medicine's turnover, that is, by the
Agency for Medicines at the Ministry of Health. The pharmacy could be
public or private.

Note: The usual definition for sick-leave as a condition in the period between the
onset of the injury or the disease until recovery when the person is incapable
for work, refers only to limited causes for incapacity for work. The reasons
for temporary incapacity for work, according to the regulations are: disease
or injury; medical examinations; blood, tissue or organ donation; care of sick
child up to three years of age; care of the member of a family (to 30 days);
indispensable escort of a patient referred to a treatment in another place;
indispensable escort to a sick child up to three years of age when he is on
hospital treatment (up to 30 days); isolation in order to prevent infection;
and pregnancy, delivery and maternity.

Def: an infection acquired in a hospital; its source could be other patients, visitors
or employees of the hospital
Note: It is estimated that 5-10% of hospital patients acquire some kind of
nosocomial infection. It happens more frequently in the surgical, obstetrical,
and infectious departments, and the departments of hemodialysis. These
units are called "high risk departments". Intrahospital infections prolong
hospitalisation and thus increase the costs for treatment.

Note: Буџетот за здравствени услуги, во кој детално се наброени
изворите и строго се назначува намената на средствата, за одреден
период (најчесто една година), на определена територија, установа
или дејност, претставува составен дел на здравствените програми,
како и на финансиските планови на здравствените организации.
Финансиските планови на Фондот за здравствено осигурување од
1998 се заменети со буџет на Фондот за здравствено
осигурување. Овој термин често се поистоветува со терминот
средства за здравствена заштита, кој ги означува само изворите за
финансирање.
EN: health services budget
Def: a detailed description of the anticipated income and expenditures related to
health care for a certain territory, institution or activity
Note: The health services budget, which in details enumerates the sources and
strictly defines the allocation of the funds for certain period of time (most
commonly one year), for certain territory, institution or activity, represents a
constituent part of the health programmes and of the financial plan of health
organisations. Since 1998 the financial plan of Health Insurance Fund
have been replaced with the budget of Health Insurance Fund. Often this
term is equalized with the term funds for health care, which denotes only
the sources for funding.
