The causes of absenteeism of 10-silver students

INTRODUCTION

School administrators of villacin national high school has a problem with those students

who uprise eventually the number of absenteeism.

Absenteeism is a student behavior grounded on physical, psychological and social reasons

and affecting students development negatively. Absenteeism can be not only a symptom of

students negative feelings about school but also sourced by many different reasons (gokyer,

2012). Absenteeism is typically based on total days of school missed, including both excused and

unexcused absences (balfanz & bymes, 2012).

In this study, the researchers are focused on finding out the reason of grade 10-silver of

villacin national high school in absenteeism.

Research Question

What is the main reason why grade 10-silver of villacin national high school go absent?
 METHODOLOGY

This chapter determines in obtaining information and feedback from grade 10-silver student

RESPONDENTS AND LOCAL

The respondents of this survey were the students of villacin national high school. This survey

took place inside the room. The core audience was not forced to answer particular questions

because it seems too personal to them. This survey was involve by grade 10-silver students.

METHOD AND DATA ANALYSIS

Questionnaire was prepared before the actual survey, the gathered information was analyzed and

computed for specific results for this research.

SURVEY AND QUESTIONNAIRE

The research tool consisted only one of question, but as said, some students mat asked

supplementary questions to the support their choices. The target audience may or may not feel

genius although the average chosen within each class would be the default the unrequited items.

The survey questioned a number of 25 students.

As shown in the graph, 12 respondents answered that they go absent because of Personal

problem (with the mean of 0.48); 7 respondents answered because of Other reason (with the

mean of 0.28); 4 respondent answered because of family problem (with the mean of 0.16);

and respondent answered because of Financial problem (with the m,ean of 0.080.

CONCLUSION

Based on the research, researchers found out that the main reason why grade 10-silver go

absent is because of personal problem.
