1. Understanding ISO/IEC 17025

This training course has been designed to meet current industry expectations to
understand and implement ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General requirements for the
competence of testing and calibration laboratories. The course examines the
purpose and application of these requirements to assist Learners in contributing to
the implementation of the requirements in their laboratory.

2. Internal Audits
Training Dates 2020 (INAU)

All quality management systems include the requirement for an effective internal audit
function. This function ensures the management system is being implemented as
intended, that the facility is managing it’s risks, and is an important tool for identifying
continuous improvement processes and development opportunities for staff.

This course is based on the principles contained within ISO 19011 Guidelines for
quality and/or environmental management systems auditing and hence applies
equally to ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189.

3. Quality Management in the Laboratory

The Quality Management in the Laboratory course is designed to provide participants

with a strong understanding of the elements required for good practice in a laboratory.

This course is aimed at laboratory management and staff involved in the implementation,
maintenance and improvement of the laboratory’s management system. It is suitable for
all levels of staff and is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the laboratory’s
management system, including the technical requirements.

You’ll need a device with reliable internet connection and a suitable area for
learning. We’ve found that a headset can be useful to keep your focus on training
and we would also request that, where possible, you have your webcam on to make
it easier to interact with your fellow participants.
