2. In my opinion, the way they communicate about the risk is
not right. They are hesitate to inform the public about the
disease spread because they think Thanksgiving Day is more
important to celebrate and give them more benefits. The
doctor also does not give enough important details such as
the number of deaths, mortality rate and the number of
infected people. As a results, some people tend to believe
more the information in the blog rather than public health
agencies. Some pharmacy companies also will take this
opportunity to sell their products and claim that they can
cure the diseases. So, I think the agencies should have a
better communication among each other as well as public.
3. If I am a blogger, I will only post the statement that has
been released by public health agencies such as WHO so that
I can avoid release false information to the public. I also will
try to educate them by posting article on how to prevent
from getting any infection disease such as always wearing
mask, avoid having skin contact with the things in public and
apply hand sanitizer before going out.
4. If I am the CDC head researcher, I will announce to the
public about the virus so that they will be more alert and try
their best to prevent from getting infection. In this way, more
lives can be saved. I will also ask my team to investigate the
case more deeply and make sure they have enough
equipment that can protect them from getting infection with
the patient during the research. Next, I will also not taking
any advantage such as give the vaccines to those that was
not supposed to receive it yet for example Aubrey Cheever
which has received the vaccines early when she does not
need them yet.
