PENETRANT PROCESS GUIDE

Method C: SOLVENT REMOVABLE INSPECTION

PRECLEAN WITH SKC-S APPLY PENETRANT DWELL TIME

SKL-SP2 Visible Solvent Removable 10-30 Minutes
SKL-WP2 Visible Water Washable (in some cases longer)
ZL-27A Fluorescent Solvent Removable
ZL-60D Fluorescent Water Washable

INSPECT VISIBLE (Spotcheck7)

REMOVE EXCESS PENETRANT APPLY DEVELOPER DWELL TIME

Use dry cloth. Spray cleaner directly onto SKD-S2 for visible inspection 10 min. - 1 hr. max.
cloth (DO NOT spray onto test area as ZP-9F for fluorescent inspection
indications will wash out). Remove excess
surface penetrant.
