REFLECTION PAPER

As an accountancy student in this course, I have learned to appreciate the peaceful, yet
exhilarating moment when my mind engaged into a much wider world. I have always been
inside my own box as wanted but having to realize that this conception would void my views
of the world outside and its noteworthy complexities, I have learned throughout my course
works in Purposive Communication what communicating really is and the various ideas
within that I can apply on my everyday life.

Basically, communication assumes an indispensable job on the world we are living in. It
is considerably more than what we want and need. Our principle explanations behind it
change after some time; we are imparting thus, for social reasons. It alludes to the trading of
considerations and thoughts with the intention of delivering data. Its motivation is to
exchange on one's convictions, thoughts, considerations or necessities with clarity in order to
arrive at an agreement or a commonly adequate arrangement. We use communication to share
data, remark, pose inquiries, express needs, and create social relationships and social
behavior.

I have consistently been a thinker, yet all through my activities and classes I attended in
this course, I have incredibly honed my basic critical thinking aptitudes. Rather than
concentrating on proposed implications or anecdotal foundation, I have figured out how to
dig lessons as profoundly as they could be expected under the circumstances and unload
everything about building up a fantastic close read to the topic.

I have learned that communication isn’t just that basic exchanging of thoughts through
speaking but it varies in so many ways. I have initially noted that communication can also be
nonverbal as long as it is clearly delivered in a manner the receiver can fully understand the
context. I have also learned to view communication in a multicultural setting and that I can
not speak and spit words I generally have no idea with as its approach can be different to
others. Purposive Communication in this century has generally honed my experience as an
introvert and basically improved my skills in terms of standing up for an issue although it has
always been one of my strengths in high school.
I clearly enjoyed all my time spent during the preliminaries of this course. I have learned
notable experiences and never expected that I can learn so much while having fun. The
subject and the professor taught me how to critically analyze the subject and adequately apply
those lessons I have learned in my everyday life.
