The Red Lion restaurant is concerned about its image, one aspect of which is the
friendliness of the service at restaurant. In a personal interview customers were asked
to indicate their perception of service on a five point scale, where 1 indicated very
unfriendly service & 5 indicated very friendly service.

The alternative hypothesis that the mean does not equal to 3.0:

scale, X bar equaled 3.78. the sample standard deviation was S = 1.5. We want to test
