KAYAK RAMP DIRECTIONS

May 1st-October 31st

For those travelling with a GPS, you are coming to Devils Fork State Park, Salem,
SC, 29676. No matter from where you are traveling, here are the Easy Directions
for finding us:

1) Travel your shortest route to Hwy 11

2) Travel on Hwy 11 to the intersection with Jocassee Lake Road. (Turn off your
gps at this point. If not, it will take you a wrong way.

Enjoy the ‘scenic route’ to the lake!)

3) Travel on Jocassee Lake Road to Devils Fork State Park

YOU’RE THERE!

As you approach the park on Jocassee Lake Rd, watch for a large brown Devils
Fork SP sign on the right. Just past this sign is a road (and a sign) on the left, which
directs you to the campground, the picnic area, and the 2 remote ramps.

Take this left-hand turn and stay on this road. Do not turn into the picnic area or
the campground.

Go through the pay station and pay ​$8 dollars per person adults, $5 for Seniors
65+, $4 for kids 6-15 and kids 5 and under are FREE.​ Put the hang tag on your
rear-view mirror.

Next up will be a fork in the road. ​Take the Left-hand fork to go to the kayak
ramp.​ The ramp is marked motorized/non-motorized. DO NOT GO TO THE RAMP
ON THE RIGHT MARKED, NON-MOTORIZED
