Hi Dan, Hi Lucy,

Mike and I arrived in Barcelona on Saturday. The first
night we were in a self – catering apartment near the
beach. I didn´t sleep well because it was too noisy,
so yesterday I moved to a hotel in the city center.
Mike stayed at the apartment because it´s quite and
it´s got Spanish TV, so I can practice my Spanish in
the evenings.
Yesterday Mike came with me to the Picasso
Museum. I thought it was fantastic, but he wanted to
leave after an hour. He said it was boring, so we
went to the beach and met some local people and he
talked to them for almost three hours… that was
boring! Of course, he spoke in English because he
does not know much Spanish.
Tim and I are here in beautiful Barcelona. I´m in a
self – catering apartment near the beach. It´s not
very comfortable, but I only go there to sleep. The
first night there was a party next door and I danced
until 3a.m. Tim said it was too noisy and he moved
into a hotel in the city centre. He stays in his room
in the evening and watches TV! Can you believe it
– watching TV on holidays?
Yesterday we went to the Picasso Museum. Well,
it was OK… for about an hour ... but Tim wanted to
stay there all day! You know me … I like relaxing
on the beach and meeting people – yesterday I
met some great people from Madrid, and we
chatted all afternoon.

Last night I wanted to go to a restaurant to try the local Tim always wants to eat in expensive places, but I
food, but Mike said it was too expensive. We went to a like buying food from shops and eating it on the
cheap snack bar and the food was awful. Hope you´re beach. Last night we went to a snack bar, the food
well. was terrible.

What was your last holiday? Tell us about two places you visited, compare them taking into
account weather, food, length and other details you want to include. How did you feel there?
What did you do? What was the best or worst experience in those places? Who was with?

In my last vacation I went to visit my family in Simijaca Boyacá there the climate is
quite cold but it is very welcoming, the days that I was in this place we did multiple
things in the mornings at about four o'clock in the morning we were going to milk the
cows, we went to collect fruits and vegetables to be able to carry out the foods of the
day, with my cousins we made bread in stone oven and we went to bathe to a ravine
that is close to the house in this place I was with my mother, my uncles, cousins and
nephews.
Another place I visited was Melgar Tolima unlike the first place here is very hot, we
were staying in a hotel which had a nice view, pool and a pool table, to eat we went to
the center of town, and I noticed that Boyacá is cheaper to go to Melgar I went with
my girlfriend and her family.

I would like to visit:
Grand Canyon Because I would like to feel that experience of jumping into the Grand
Canyon with a parachute
Paris: I would like to know the Eiffel tower and the different museums and sculptures of the
city say they are beautiful
Bangkok: It has great statues and sculptures of Buddha that I would like to know also its
culture and gastronomy

These are the five places I'd like to know in the medium term.
1.India there are plenty of places for meditation and the encounter with itself also has one
of the wonders of the modern world the Taj Mahal and have a great culture and
gastronomy that you would like to know before you die.
2.Germany to this country I will go to do my specialization as it is a mega city that seeks to
renew technological and different knowledge of the world since they are creating great
technological cities, it also has great tourist attractions as well as the other cities as it has
many historical places and a lot of beautiful landscapes in the city.
3.Canada in a large country as it has an aid for young people who want to study or
develop work in their country has as a German with great beautiful landscapes and a great
treatment of residents also have a great tourist attraction such as Niagara Falls.
4.Dubai has a wide variety of diversions for all audiences is very expensive but in the
scenes shown in movies and photographs it has excellent landscapes and with the tallest
building in the world also with technology to protect the city from the strong sandstorms
and desert heat it would be very interesting to know how this technology was reached for
the help of creating new cities in the world.
5.Tokyo is a big mega city the history of the city is fantastic and the museums that the city
has have have great history of Japanese culture has great mobility and the restaurants
and shops are located in high buildings the shopping centers are buildings have a variety
of natural parks in different places of the city and with a great view of them has very exotic
temples and hot spring baths and large castles has the best Disney amusement park.
