Welcome to the 2018 Iloilo Schools Sports Council (Integrated) Meet!

It is both my privilege and pleasure to greet the participants, athletes,

stakeholders, officials and managers to this worthwhile sports activity.

Engaging in sports enables one to go into an exercise regimen that is both

enjoyable and physically profitable. Thus, brain and brawn cannot be separated
from each other. Youth and sports will always be closely interlinked and
interwoven. Through sports, the athlete’s physical prowess is honed; hence,
athletes strive to compete with determination and willpower to win. I hope that
as you compete in the different sports events you can bring with you satisfaction
and memorable experiences.

I fervently hope that this Integrated Meet paves the way to produce best
and more athletes that could bring glory and name to our country in the local and
international sports competitions.

May sportsmanship, joy and camaraderie grow and flourish.
