ILLUSTRATED PARTS LIST
Task 25-21-84-871-801-A01
1. General
A. Purpose
This Illustrated Parts List (IPL) is intended only for use in identifying, provisioning,
requisitioning, storing and issuing replaceable parts. The IPL is part of the
Component Maintenance Manual and includes all parts referred to in the
maintenance practices.
Geven S.p.A. disclaims all responsibility for data added, deleted, and/or revised by
airline/operator-initiated modifications to this document.
NOTE: To place purchase orders, please use only part numbers listed in
this IPL. Do not use references marked on components.
B. IPL breakdown
(1) Introduction
(1) When component Part Number is not known: look the exploded view
illustrations in order to identify the component; make note of component item
number and check the corresponding number in the part list in order to find
component part number, description and quantity for that application.
(2) When component Part Number is known: turn to the Numerical Index and
locate part number using figure and item references; make note of
references and check the corresponding figure/item in the part list in order to
find component part number, description and quantity for that application.

Task 25-21-84-871-803-A01
If an item is not illustrated, a dash is added to the left of the item number.
The Airline Stock Number column code links each IPL item to the a/c on which the
part is installed. Refer to following table for column code applicability. If the part is
applicable for three applicability codes e.g. NR01 thru NR02, the code could be
NR01-NR02. If the part is used on all assemblies the column is left blank. Where
the usage code does not make it is clear (almost If the part is used for all
applicability codes, the column is left blank.

D. Nomenclature column
(1) ATTACHING PARTS. The indication "ATTACHING PARTS" shows the parts
that attach an assembly or part. Attaching parts are listed immediately below
the item they attach and at the same indenture level. The first item is
preceded by the words ‘ATTACHING PARTS’ and the last one is followed by
the ‘***’. The quantity shown is the quantity necessary to attach one part.
(2) SEE 252184 – XX FOR DET or NHA. Gives the location in the IPL of either
the full breakdown or the NHA of a sub-assembly.
Page 10001-3
25-21-84 OCT 25/16
(5) SEL FROM. Identifies a group of alternative parts from which you can select
the necessary one.
(6) OPT TO. Identifies an optional part that is fully interchangeable with the initial
part.
(7) ALT FROM PN. Identifies an alternate part number, for a part that is fully
interchangeable with the initial part after alteration(s) to it.
(8) RPLS (replaces part number). Indicates that parts are fully interchangeable
(two-way).
(9) RPLD BY (replaced by part number). Indicates that parts are fully
interchangeable (two-way).
(10) SUPSDS (supersedes part number). Indicates that parts are non-
interchangeable (or one-way).
(11) SUPSD BY (superseded by part number). Indicates that parts are non-
interchangeable (or one-way).
(13) USED ON PN. Identifies the Next Higher Assembly (NHA) for a part, where
the Usage Code does not make it clear (almost identical assemblies that
share a single breakdown).
(14) ORDER OVRLGHT PN. Identifies a part number with more than fifteen
characters that cannot fit in the part number column.
(15) VALID FOR AMDT (amendment). Links the part to the seat assembly. To
identifies the correct amendment revision refer to the seat identification
placard (AMDT block) installed on the bottom structure beam.

SEAT AMDT AND S/N IDENTIFICATION
Figure 10001
E. USAGE CODE column
The Usage Code links each IPL item to the seat assembly on which the part is
installed. If there are six item numbers for the highest assembly e.g. A thru F, the
usage code could be ACE, indicating that the part is used on A, C and E seat
assemblies, but not on B, D or F. If the part is used on all assemblies the column
is left blank. Where the usage code does not make it is clear (almost identical
assemblies that share a single breakdown), “USED ON PN” wording is shown in
the nomenclature column (Ref. to step D.) to clarify the relative highest assembly.
Where the usage code of seat assembly consists of two letters (e.g. AA or AB) the
usage code could be A,CE,AC, indicating that the part is used on A, C, E and AC
seat assemblies.
A numeric entry in the ’UNITS PER ASSY’ column indicates the quantity of parts
used in one next higher assembly or installation. For total quantity per Unit for one
location refer to Alpha Numerical Index. Where items are listed for reference
purposes (lead item of the figure), the column states ’RF’ (Reference). Item 1
(and/or Item 2 if applicable) is the ’Lead Items’ of the figure. They are listed for
reference purposes. Refer to NHA (where shown) for actual quantity. For certain
bulk items such as items cut from raw stock, or common hardware items such as
shims where quantity must be determined upon installation, the column states
’AR’ (As Required).
