MICROBIOCIDE 9601
MAXTREAT- 9601 is fast acting non-oxidizing a Dibromonitrilopropionamide (DBNPA) based liquid biocide, It
provides a broad-spectrum control of bacteria, fungi, yeast, and algae including cyanobacteria and true algae in
reverse osmosis. The in-built dispersants help dispersing biomass and improve biocidal action. The biocide
decomposes rapidly in an aquatic environment and thus, is environmentally safe.

• Suitable for slime clean-up where high levels of organic and biomass are present.

• Provides excellent results even with chlorination on - No need to shut off chlorine during biocide applications.
• Effective in a wide range of pH from 6.0 - 8.5.
• Compatible with all types of RO Antiscalant used.
• It is not an oxidizing biocide and is suitable for application in RO systems.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE

Dose varies with contamination. Std recommendation is between 5-30 ppm online dose depending on system
contamination, type of microorganisms, fouling etc.

HANDLING, STORAGE AND PRECAUTIONS

Avoid contact with sensitive or cut skin. In case of accidental contact with eyes, Flush with water and get medical
attention thereafter. May cause chemical burns. MAXTREAT 9601 is stable under normal storage conditions..
