CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING :

1.- Please, send this application form back by email with minimum 6 digital pictures and a short
description of your group and videos or links and descriptions of your performances. Please
send this emails to : merdem_65@hotmail.com or kararitim61@hotmail.com

2.- The Groups will stay at hotel (http://www.erginotel.com.tr ) and similer hotels.The number of
participants are not limited.

3.- Dancers (except accompanying people) must be between 8-16 years old.

4.- The groups are requested to arrive in Ayvalık on 20 April 2020 - 12:00 and depart on 24 April
2020 - 12:00, after breakfast.

5.- Gifts provide for each person is an attendance certificate.

6.- Each group should bring flags of their countries with them.

7.- We will prefer for dance groups with live music but recorded music also acceptable.

8.- Pocket money will not be paid to the groups by Festival Committee. 100 Lt. Diesel will given
for these activities to each bus. (If groups came by bus)

9.- The groups will prepare 5-10 minutes programs. All groups have to prepare minimum 2
different performances.

10.- The festival fee is 135 euro per person. It covers organizational expenses, accommodation
in a Hotel for 4 nights with 3 meals per day. ( Open buffet breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Free
non alcohol drink ) On every 25 participants one member is free of charge. For double rooms
there is a supplement of 5 € per person per day, for single room 15 € per person per day.

PAYMENT: As confirmation of its participation in the festival, a group pays in advance 1000 €
(which is not reimbursable in case of declination of participation). The rest of the amount is to be
paid 15 days before the festival or at the group’s arrival to the hotel, according to the agreement.

Every year in Çanakkale, a group of people gather under the name of “The Day
of Madness” meeting and enjoy the fun of Lâpseki Duman mountain. Not just 4-04
having a fun, of course. And they choose their new president.

- XVI “ANA LUGOJANA” INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN FOLK DANCE FESTIVAL
- The International Folk Festival „Ana Lugojana” , included on the agenda of the International
Board of Organization of Folk Festivals , is organized by the Ana Lugojana Cultural Associa-
tion, in cooperation with the Cityhall and the Municipal Council of Lugoj, and the Council of
Timis County. The festival takes place, every two years , within the 11th-15th of August.
Eleven editions of the festival have already taken place until 20, with the participation of dif-
ferent folk groups from Greece, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Spain, Ucrain, Poland, Serbia, Re-
public of Moldavia, France, Holland, Bulgaria, Belarus,Lithuain,Belgium, Portugal,Cy-
prus,Macedonia,Turcia,etc.
- Participation terms:

- - are invited to take part in the festival representative folk groups with a rich musical and
choreographic repertory;
 - a performance can last 5,10, and 20 minutes; - in a group there
will be dancers, instrumentalists ( who will play „live”) , a choreographer, a group leader,
drivers etc., but not more than 35 persons; -facilities offered by the organizers: accommoda-
tion, meals(Hotels)- setting up artistic partnership relations with the Folk Ensemble
„Lugojana”;
 Festival programme:

- -open-air folk performances;
 - folk costumes parades, workshops; - symposiums;
 - meet-
ing the Mayor of Lugoj;
 - offering souvenirs;
 - taking part to the folk holiday of the town
„Ruga Lugojanã” (15 August).

- Information about International Folk Festival
- 1. The number of members of the candidate group should not exceed 35. This also includes
head of the group, instructor, musicians, dancers, drivers, and etc
- 2. Participants must be over 16 years of age since the festival is not a children festival.
- 3. All groups will accommodate in international standard hotels. If the number of members
exceeds 35 then the festival committee does not guarantee any high standard of accommo-
dation for all members.
- 4. The accommodation, meals, will be met by the organizing committee during the period
11st – 15th Aout 2020 (dates are inclusive)
- 5. Groups should arrive to Lugoj on 11th Aout in the evening or 16tst July in the morning and
leave.
- 6. If you travel by plane, the airport you need to use is: Timisoara (Romania) or Belgrade
(Serbia)!
- 7. The festival fee is 100 euro per person. It covers organizational expenses, accommodation
in a Hotel for 5 nights with 3 meals per day. Registration for the next edition 11-15 August
2020

- 8. The deadline for the application is 31th January , 2020. Groups applying after the deadline
will not be taken under consideration as a candidate guest group.
- 9. Each candidate group needs to send the name, address, phone & fax numbers, and the
name of the group’s director. In addition, a short history of the group including achievements
need to be prepared in a Microsoft Office Word document. This requirement is for easier and
fast evaluation of the candidate group. Additional information will be needed in case of se-
lection of the group for the festival.
- 10. The language of correspondence is English.
- 11. If you are not eligible for the festival, please let us know in the shortest time so that we
can arrange our invitations.
- 12. The festival committee will evaluate the candidate groups and decide which groups are
eligible for participating in the festival.

XI International Children’s Folklore Festival
“Licidersko srce”- Uzice 2020.

• XI International Children's Folklore Festival "Licidersko srce" will take place from
15th to 20th of August in City of Uzice and nearby touristic destination and towns
• This international manifestation is looking to promote and share the folklore and
tradition of different nations to strengthen the friendship and the identity of each
country, but also to promote Western Serbia as very attractive touristic and cultural
destination
• The organizer is Association of cituzens ERA from Uzice, and Festival is supported by
City of Uzice, Ministery of education and Ministery of culture.
REGULATIONS:
Obligations of the ensembles:
• TIME AND DATES: The groups are expected to arrive in Uzice on 14th of August
after 15 o’clock a.m (first meal is dinner), and leave during morning hours on 20th of
August (after breakfast).

• NUMBER AND AGE OF PARTICIPANTS: The groups may have max. 32 persons in
total (including group leaders, drivers…) Participants must be children from 10 to
16 years old. Each extra person will pay 30+20€ by day, but this must be arranged
in advance (because of place of the accomodation)

• INSURANCE: All the members of groups should have medical insurance.

• TRAVEL COSTS: The travel costs to and from Uzice should be covered by the
groups. (Transportation from Belgrade to Uzice and back and also transportation
during the festival, will be organized for the groups which come by plane.) Each
group will make about 200km more by bus because of performances in nearby
towns and visiting touristic destinations.

• PERFORMANCES: The festival programme includes opening and closing ceremony,
daily animations, evening concerts and street parades in Uzice and nearby towns.
All groups have to prepare programme of about 3, 5,10 and 15 min. Groups must
have live folk orchestra.

• OTHER: Each group should bring the national flag and five gifts for exchange
(Organizer - 1, Mayor of Uzice - 1, the representatives of the other towns - 3 small).
Each group should also bring the costume (one male and one female) for the
exibition, which will last as long as the festival lasts - 5 days and those costumes will
be showen all those days, so the groups can not use them during the performances.
The group should also bring one bottle of national drink to be served during the
opening of the exibition.
!!! The leader of the group is responsible for the behavior of the ensemble, and every
demage that group makes during the festival, will be charged.



• PROMO MATERIAL:
Each group should send by e-mail as soon as possible:
-filled application
-3 digital photos (good resolution)
-short history in english (about 10 sentences)
-video material with the part of ensemble's programme (or link to see the
ensemble)

After choosing the ensemble, the organiser will send the official invitation.

Choosen group should send by e-mail, until the 1st of July:
-the list of participants(with name, surname, function in ensemble, date of birth and
pasport number)
-5 sentences in english about the costume od their region (country)-for the exibition
Obligations of the Organizer:
• THE ACCOMODATION: The organizer provides full accomodation for groups
in student’s hostels (with three meals per day and medical service –if
needed). We can not provide rooms for couples.

• GUIDES: Each group will have one or two guides who speak English

• Organizer will send neccessery details about the programme, accomodation
and all festival’s events on time.
Note:
1. Ensembles which can arrange exchange (to invite our ensemble to
participate in some festival in their country with the similar conditions)
will have advantage in selection.
2. Very important fact: the advantage in selection will also have the
ensembles which have the recommendation of their National Section of
CIOFF

INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCE FESTIVAL ”CARPAŢI”


The 37th EDITION, 2020 REGULATIONS – 01-07.09/ 2020

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION


1.Any country may participate in the Festival

2. The group will consist of maximum 30 persons (participants, persons accompanying them,
choreographer, musicians, drivers). Per person 40 Euro.

3. Only groups with orchestra and / or CD will be allowed to take part in the festival.
SELECTION OF THE PARTICIPANTS

1. Every group must submit the filled application form, together with a description of the group and
photos or edifying CDs.

2. The application forms will be sent to the following email address: merdem_65@hotmail.com ,

3. The submission deadline for the application forms is the 10 th of March 2020.

4. The organising committee will select the groups. Each group will be informed in writing (by e-mail or
fax) of the decision of the organising committee by the 10th of April . 2020

5. If the group is unable to participate in the festival, the refusal will be submitted by the 1st of April,2020

PROGRAM
The parade of folk songs and costumes as well as folk performances will be organised in the open air.
1. The groups need to prepare:
- 5 minutes - dance program in the open air
- 15 minutes - dance program in the open air within the shows
- Evolution/ street parade – dance program
2. Each participant will receive a diploma or a trophy with the logo of the festival
.
ORGANISATIONAL INFORMATION
1. Participants are expected to arrive in Pitesti on the 01. september, at noon, and the departure will be
on
the 07.september, after breakfast.
2. The organizers will provide accommodation and breakfast-lunch-dinner for this period of time.
3. The transport of participants is their responsibility. For groups that travel by plane, according to the
flight schedule, airport transfers and trips to the festival will be supported by the organizers. Groups
arriving by coach will use their own coach for trips to the towns where the shows take place.
4. The participating groups will financially support the possible costs of emergency hospitalization and
recovery costs by the issued health insurances. The period of validity of the health insurances will be
between the arrival and departure dates of the groups.
5. The participating groups will bring their country flags (the size of the flags should be 1.00 meter x
1.50 meter with the sticks).
6. Every group will exchange gifts with the representatives of Arges County Council and the host town
halls. (6 local authorities)
