• Use 100-weight silk thread and a fine, size 60/8 or 70/10
needle in your machine.
• To avoid puckering, sew the seam along the 5/8” (1.5cm)
OVERLOCK/SERGE seam line, then trim the excess seam allowance close to 4

24. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la vista en el frente
de la manga con los bordes no terminados parejos. Cosa con un
costura de 3/8" (1cm). Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas.
Coloque la vista en la parte trasera de la manga de la misma manera.
25. Para hacer la costura oculta, planche la vista hacia el exterior y la
costura hacia la vista.

dentro, a lo largo del pespunte y cosa con puntadas corrientes, de zig-
zag O de overlock/sobrehilado sobre el borde.
31. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la vista en el borde
del escote, casando los centros y las costuras de los hombros. Cosa a
lo largo de las líneas de pespunte de la vista y de la línea de la costura.
Para reforzar la costura en el centro del frente, vuelva a coser sobre
el primer pespunte.
Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas y hasta el
pespunte en el centro del frente.
32. Para hacer la costura oculta, planche la vista hacia el exterior y
la costura hacia la vista. Con la vista sobre el derecho, cosa cerca de la
costura atrapando la vista y los márgenes de la costura.
33. Vuelva la vista hacia el INTERIOR; planche. Para evitar que la vista se
enrolle en el DERECHO, cósala a mano en el margen de costura,
cosiendo en el pliegue o pegándola con un pequeño pedazo de materia
adhesiva
34. Planche el dobladillo. Planche un doblez de 1/4" (6mm) en el borde no
terminado. Cosa cerca del borde interior planchado.
