Library seat status tracker
Controllers Used:
On the chair: Bluno Board with Atmego 328 microprocessor
On computer system: Texas-Instrument microprocessor

This system has been implemented at the Washington University in St. Louis.

Microcontroller Raspberry pi 3 model B+
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth embedded in the Raspberry Pi.
Sensor for Seat PIR motion sensor
Tracking
Sensor for Bag RFID RC522 -
Security relatively low cost ,
suitable for bag security implementation.
Actuator The SG90 9g servo motor-
5 voltages to run
Used to open the door along with a PIR Motion sensor.

Mobile Application Android application, programmed in Java, C, C++ etc.

Discussion and Conclusion
 Automated the Library system with a smartphone application
 Future work –
• Silencing mobile phone automatically
• Better accuracy and refresh-rate
• Development of help desk on App itself
• Use of App to search books
