“Teachers that work too hard are the ones that burn out.

Hi dear peer :
I believed that this assumption is true , and please allow me to share my thoughts with you …
In general , everything that exceed the normal limit is not good , so when anyone (not teachers
in particular) worked too hard (not just hard) , definitely will be exhausted …
I agree that teachers must work hard but NOT too hard .. Teaching is a very noble profession
and the teachers help students to understand and passed their school grade and help them to
find their own future , I remember an old wisdom when I was in school said that (( The teacher is
a candle that illuminates the paths of generations )) and I also remember a famous Arabic poet
who describe the teacher , said (( stand to the teacher and bow to him reverently because the
teacher was almost a messenger )) so like I said , teaching is a very noble job , however he
must not delicate all his time and his concentrate to his students because when he do so , soon
he will be very exhausted and lose his interest or motivation to carry on with his duties and
eventually he burned out .
All teachers must remember that they are humans , they have their own lives and own personal
concerns outside the classroom …
So I said to all teachers : Please be aware and always take care of yourselves,

SHINE BRIGHT and say no to BURNOUT .

Thank you very much .

The statement is not true.

Working hard doesn’t always trigger burn out. On the contrary, teachers who work hard can be
enlightened by the achievement of hard works which can result in more motivation and energy.

Also, burn out usually comes as the result of dullness, boredom, and exhaustion. Working hard can’t
be the absolute reason for burn out syndrome. Burn out comes when one feels depleted. And if a
teacher works hard to develop one’s teaching skills and can gain meaningful results out of it, then he
or she would feel rewarded, not burned out.
