I am writing to apply for a job on cruise ship which I saw advertised in a local newspaper “Lietuvos rytas”.

I am 19 years old and I recently graduated from Plungė “Saulės” gymnasium. I consider myself as a very
responsible, attentive and active person. I am able to communicate easily, and I am pleasant, friendly and
patient. Furthermore, I am fairly fluent in English. What concerns my work experience, last summer I
worked in a local cafeteria in my home town. Although I was new here, I received an „Employee of a
month“ title during the second month of employment.

Moreover, I would appreciate if you could send me some further details. Firstly, I would like to be informed
about the job selection that would be most suitable for my age and experience level. I would be thankful if
you could tell me in more detail how should I apply for the position that I will opt. Another matter I need
information on is about the type of accommodation that I would get while working on a cruise ship. Lastly, I
would like to know whether there are any vacancies on ships in other seas, such as the Baltic or
Mediterranean seas.
