Educate Teenagers about Teenage Pregnancy

Teenage pregnancy is one of the major problems in our society. A


girl who usually pregnant at the age of 16-18 years old, the families
will be affected. Teenagers should be aware of this problem. Therefore
teenage pregnancy should be strictly addressed.

Teenage pregnancy rise up and it affects the population growth in


the Philippines. According to Philippines Statistic Authority 2017 on
estimated of 538 babies are born by Filipino teenage mothers every
single day. Many teenagers are lack of knowing about sex education
that is why they become pregnant at an early age.

Teenage pregnancy should be addressed because teenagers should be


aware of its consequences. According to the rates of teens who were
sexually active and those who used a condom during their last sexual
encounter remained statistically stalled from 2005 to 2007, following
years of positive behavior change. We have to continually redouble our
efforts to sustain these kinds of trends and to lessen the population.

Teenage pregnancy affects the teenager’s education. According to


Lorri Gavin, improvements in sexual risk behavior have leveled off in
recent years and rates of some sexually transmitted disease have
increased. Many of them are force to drop out of school to look for a
job to support the needs of their child and to secure their future.

Teenage pregnancy is the root cause of increasing of population.


It affects the education of teenagers. Teenagers should be addressed
and aware of its consequences. Therefore teenage pregnancy should be
strictly addressed.
